Kelly was born in Baltimore, Maryland and lived there until moving to Bend in 2006. She began dancing when she was only two-and-a-half years old and hasn’t stopped. Trained in lyrical, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, tap and ballet, Kelly began teaching at age 14. She’s competed in and choreographed for numerous dance competitions across the country, bringing home multiple platinum, 1st place and various specialty awards. Her teaching experience includes studio classes, competition choreography, high school dance team and theater productions.
Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in human development with an early childhood development focus–a contributing factor to her success within the dance classroom.
Kelly has received training in multiple genres of dance and never tires of learning, attending dance conventions and workshops whenever she has the opportunity.
In addition to her talent as a dancer and choreographer, Kelly has experience in studio management and direction. Her exemplary skills in organization, keen eye for detail and desire for perfection make her an asset as GDSC’s Assistant Director. Kelly’s passion and love for dance are evident in every aspect of teaching, choreography and the development and management of all areas of studio functions.
Kelly is excited and honored to be a part of the amazing Gotta Dance family.
