Freddie Mendoza

Freddie Mendoza (Freddie B) is a B-boy and Breakdance teacher. He grew up in the Bay Area and has been influenced by the Hip Hop culture most his life. At the age of 15 he was introduced to Breakdancing from a crew at his jr high school in Vallejo CA. B-boying and its lifestyle became a big part of who Freddie was at this time in his life. Dancing in school, on the street, at shows, or literally clearing out the furniture in Moms living room and adding a piece of cardboard was an everyday thing. Through hard work and dedication he was able to gain the strength and confidence in himself to express his own flavor of this amazing piece of Hip Hop. In 2010 he accepted a teaching position at Urban Pointe Dance Center and taught Breakdance and Hip Hop for three seasons and later bought the studio to run it for a fourth season. He is exited to continue to dance and teach this street style of dance to the next generations of B-boys and B-girls at Gotta Dance Studio for years to come!
