Kelly Sullins

Kelly was born in Baltimore, Maryland and lived there until moving to Bend in 2006.  She began dancing when she was only two-and-a-half years old and hasn’t stopped. Trained in lyrical, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, tap and ballet, Kelly began teaching at age 14.  She’s competed in and choreographed for numerous dance competitions across the country, bringing home multiple platinum, 1st place and various specialty awards.  Her teaching experience includes studio classes, competition choreography, high school dance team and theater productions. Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in human development with an early childhood development focus--a contributing factor to her success within the dance classroom.

Kelly has performed in multiple shows and was also chosen to perform on local television.  In addition, she was selected as a back-up dancer for local musicians. She has received training in multiple genres of dance. Kelly never tires of learning and attends dance conventions and workshops whenever she has the opportunity. She continued her dance education, as well as teaching, when she moved to Bend and has added hip hop to her vast dance knowledge.

In addition to her talent as a dancer and choreographer, Kelly has experience in studio management and direction. Her exemplary skills in organization, keen eye for detail and desire for perfection make her an asset as GDSC's Assistant Director.  Kelly’s passion and love for dance are evident in every aspect of teaching, choreography and the development and management of all areas of studio functions.

Kelly is excited and honored to be a part of the amazing Gotta Dance family.
